Who we are

4 Dot Media (“4DM”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a creator studio based in London, United Kingdom. You can reach us any time at 4dotmediauk@gmail.com.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect

When you fill in our enquiry form, we collect the name, email address and message you choose to send us. That’s it — we don’t ask for anything else.

We do not collect payment details, passwords, or any sensitive personal data through this site.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure. We don’t use this to personally identify you.

How we use it

We use the details you send us purely to reply to your enquiry, discuss potential work, and keep a record of our conversation.

We will never sell or rent your information, and we won’t add you to any marketing list unless you’ve specifically asked us to.

Our legal basis

Under UK GDPR, we process your contact details on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our work, and to take steps at your request before potentially entering into a contract with you.

Cookies & tracking

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across the web.

Some pages embed videos (for example from YouTube). These only load — and only then may set their own cookies — if you actively choose to press play on them.

If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or rent your data to anyone.

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the site and handle enquiries (for example our website host and our email provider). They only ever process your information on our instructions.

We may disclose information if we’re legally required to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as we need it to deal with your request and for our normal business records, after which we delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. To do any of this, just email 4dotmediauk@gmail.com.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. That said, no method of sending data over the internet is ever completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site and our services aren’t aimed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top always shows when it last changed.
